A recent property poll once again confirmed that when it comes to luxury homes, the Costa del Sol tops the list in Spain. In fact, out of the top-ten addresses in the whole country, five were located in Marbella and Benahavis, with the remainder to be found in Madrid and Mallorca. This means that the Costa del Sol leaves behind even the high-end destinations of Ibiza and world class city such as Barcelona.

Nueva Andalucía is Marbella’s largest and popular residential area because of its suburban feel and sense of space combined with close proximity to the beaches, shops and leisure amenities of Puerto Banús, Marbella town and San Pedro Alcántara. Further appeal is added by its beautiful homes, excellent mountain, golf and sea views, having so many shopping and dining facilities on your doorstep, a top international school, and of course the three fantastic golf courses that have brought it to become known as The Golf Valley.

The charming residential area of Cabopino in the heart of Marbella East is also one of the prettiest and most diverse in the greater Marbella region. Though compact, it offers so much, ranging from pine groves, long sandy beaches and protected coastal dunes to its own golf course and yacht marina – not to mention a good choice of shops, restaurants and cafés.

In a place with as great a variety of settings and property types as Marbella, even the luxury market is known for its opposing yet tantalising options.

The New Golden Mile is the up-and-coming coastal area on the Costa del Sol. Situated between Marbella/Puerto Banús and Estepona, it enjoys the best of all worlds: close to golf courses, mountainous countryside and of course frontline beach with spectacular views that follow the shoreline westwards all the way to Gibraltar.
