El Paraíso – established and upcoming at the same time
Publication: 27 May. 2020El Paraíso, is situated just west of San Pedro Alcántara and Guadalmina, and was the first luxury residential resort area to be developed within Estepona’s municipal boundaries. The golf course designed by the legendary Gary Player in 1970 was also among the earliest on the Costa del Sol, and it provided the focal point around which attractive villas and small apartment and townhouse complexes took root.

The eternal appeal of Puerto Banús
Publication: 13 Apr. 2020This year, the glamorous marina of Puerto Banús celebrates its 50th anniversary. Opened in 1970 with a lavish, jet-set party, this exclusive yacht marina has gone on to become a beacon of luxury that attracts the biggest stars, largest yachts and high society from around the world. Puerto Banús is a hub for fine dining, nightlife, café society, designer shopping, jewellery stores and one of the largest and finest El Corte Inglés department stores in Spain.

La Reserva de Alcuzcuz – former hunting estate in Marbella
Publication: 2 Mar. 2020Long before Marbella was known there was a private hunting estate set within an idyllic area of outstanding natural beauty. The property encompassed dozens of hectares of land in the hills above San Pedro Alcántara, a small town close to Marbella, from where it offered wonderful views of the wooded mountains, the Mediterranean Sea and the deep blue Andalusian skies.

Beachside living in a Los Monteros Playa
Publication: 23 Dec. 2019Marbella is sufficiently big to have different areas each with their own setting, property types, price range and characteristics. Different parts of Marbella suit different lifestyles, so if you want to be close to all amenities and nightlife, Puerto Banús is a good place to be. People who like being surrounded by a more authentically Spanish ambience seek homes nearer the downtown area of Marbella, while others enjoy the country club environment of El Madroñal, La Zagaleta, Los Flamingos or La Quinta.

Marbesa – Marbella’s last undiscovered beachside paradise
Publication: 3 Dec. 2019Thanks to its setting and micro-climate, Marbesa was, in fact, one of the first coastal sections of Marbella to be ‘discovered’ and developed. This happened at a time when there was still a lot of open shoreline, so where later frontline beach areas in Marbella became increasingly the focus of apartments and hotels, property development in Marbesa is unusually characterised by private villas situated within a short stroll of some of the area’s best sandy beaches.

Luxurious new homes in La Resina
Publication: 23 Nov. 2019La Resina, which is on the New Golden Mile and falls under the Estepona municipality, is fast becoming a highly desirable residential area.
